The Tampa Boyz (Tampa

The Tampa Boyz (Tampa FL)Vision Statement: Our vision as young men of God is to reach and minister to others through gospel music. We strive to live for Jesus Christ through our musical journey. Growing up The Tampa Boyz (Tyrell, Joe, Justin, Nelson, Roger III, Travis, and Tony Jr.) observed some of the nation’s finest Gospel artist such as The Canton Spirituals, The Harmony Winds, and The Exciting Gospel Warriors. While witnessing the many gospel groups’ praise and worship God through music and song, seeds were planted in them throughout their childhood. As boys, they were captivated when watching and listening attentively to the gospel artists. Their passions for music lead these young men to sing in church and become musically inclined at an early. Shortly after the opportunities to become musicians for various gospel groups and churches in the Tampa Bay Area presented itself, this gave way to outlets for the enhancement of their musical abilities. God then gave Tyrell a vision that inspired him to reach and minister to the youth through gospel music. With confirmation and support of his mentors’, Tyrell pursued his vision. In 2002 these young men came together to embark on their gospel music journey as the Sensational Brothers. Soon after in 2006, the groups’ name changed to Tyrell & The Tampa Boyz. Through the years, Tyrell & The Tampa Boyz have continued to work on their individual ministries; however, they maintain their commitment and obedience to God’s vision and mission for their gospel group. The Time Is Now and He Will Provide were the first CDs to be released by Tyrell & The Tampa Boyz. In addition to releasing the CDs, they were also blessed to videotape a live concert titled Keep on Running in March of 2006. Tyrell & The Tampa Boyz are still on their mission for God and will be releasing their next CD on April 26, 2009. .

Voices Of Clouds (Rochester NY)

The Voices of Clouds were organized by Charlie Wells in 1954 in Panama City, Florida. After years of toiling the group released their first recording with the Songbird label (a division of the Peacock Record label). Many recording soon followed and so did demand for appearances. Later the group went on to record several albums HSE and Champ Records (owned by Hoyt Sullivan). The success of the albums "I Heard The Angels Singing" and "Someone To Care" positioned them as one of the top groups in the nation. HSE Records was considered one of the top labels at that time due to the success of their many artists: Tommy Ellison and The Singing Stars, Johnny Twillie and The New Whirlwinds, Willie Banks and The Messengers, etc..., but none were creating as much of a stir as Charlie Wells and The Voices of Clouds. Many other groups on the road learned to respect the talent of The Voices of Clouds. During this time the members of the group were trying to juggle being on the road while developing their family and church lives. Soon after the group became known as Deacon Charlie Wells and The Voices of Clouds. The group continued singing and traveling throughout the US and other countries. A few years later their personal ministries lead them to taking time off from singing. Charlie Wells was ordained into the ministry and became an assistant pastor then pastor of Wells Temple in Rochester, New York. Joe James, Sr. became active in his home church and construction business. The rest of the members went their own way but all continued in the service of the Lord. After years of working with other groups, Joe James, Jr. was led by the Holy Spirit to talk his dad, Joe, Sr and Rev. Wells to reorganize the group. After months of rehearsal they returned to the "gospel entertainment field". After adjusting to the new sound of gospel (without compromising their beliefs and style) The Voices of The Clouds made a triumphed return. In April 2005, the group took 1st place at Evangelist Barbara "Golden" Lewis' T.A.O. Pressing Toward Your Vision Conference (Rochester Gospel Music Workshop of America Chapter) in Rochester, New York. The previous recordings by The Voices of Clouds have been released and a new release (CD and DVD) was made avaliable in 2006. The Clouds has appeared Bobby Jones Show on the Word Network channel. The Brown Singers (Memphis TN)

Over the years gospel music, as we know it, has transformed into more than just singing. It has become a tool in the everyday struggle to live the life that we sing about. For 28 years, the Brown Singers have traveled the world spreading the good news of Jesus. It all started in 1977, when a group of young people, Vanessa Brown Knowles, Dolly Starks Mohn, Beverly Ray King, Rosemary Starks Mathis, and Elizabeth Starks Cleveland lead by Mrs. Willie Mae Richmond attended the National Quartet Convention, where they sang as a youth choir. When they returned home, they were asked by the late Rev. J.L. Clark, their pastor at that time, to render a song. Afterwards, they sang so good he suggested that they continue on as the Brown Singers. That was the beginning of a life long ministry. The young ladies, ranging in age from 12 to 14, began appearing on programs at several churches in the Memphis and surrounding areas. After every program more and more people expressed how amazed they were by the sincerity of these girls at such a young age. In 1987, God gave Vanessa a song called Trying to live the right life for Jesus, inspired by the recent struggles that the girls had faced, enabling them to record their very first single. A few years later they were joined by the late Shelia Holt and the late Darlene Mackey. Shortly after they became members, they began to work on their album entitled Jesus Is Good News, featuring such songs as Jesus Is on the Main Line, Sweet Jesus, God Kept His Arms Around Me and many more. Jesus on the main line became an instant hit not only on the airways, but was also a household favorite. This album exposed the Brown Singers to a broader spectrum of listeners. As they traveled across the country, they transformed the tradition of quartet with there sharp movements and tight harmony. Flowing in the spirit, they watched as the presence of God began to move. Around that time, Alescia Lisa Knowles, who was only nine years old, began singing in the background. People were in intrigued to see a little girl with such a big voice. After just three years, she stepped out front and took over as the lead singer. The group then recorded the Live in Memphis, which featured most of the same hits from the previous album but with Lisa as lead. The Live in Memphis was a new phase for the group. With their teenage lead singer, their fresh new sound began to reach the young and the old. The ministry began to grow stronger and stronger. Then came a distinct voice, known for her beautiful tone as the top singer, Jackienna Richmond. In 2003, the Brown Singers released their current album, Generations: You Can Make It. A lot of people are surprised to find out that there are 3 generations in the group. First theres the grandmother, Willie Mae Richmond, mother Vanessa Knowles and granddaughter AlesciaLisa Knowles. The inspiration for this project came from trials and tribulations that we faced on the road. We also suffered the lost of two prominent members. However we managed to stay strong and trust God. Today, we have two new members Tangela Walker and Sierra Ward. We are grateful for this opportunity to share our ministry with you. So put on your Shouting Shoes with us as we journey to Zion

Thanks to an "impromptu" moment in Nashville, Tennessee, Ministree wowed, radio program directors and gospel DJs from across the country with their talent for doing "jingles" You can catch a snip-it of their jingle on The "Word" Network's F.O.C.U.S. advertisements that was taped during an interview with TV Host, Lonnie Hunter at the Stellar Awards in Nashville. This same jingle has been requested by and is currently being played on several radio stations from across the country. Ministree's hard hitting and straight forward, song "Undercover Christian" has already appeared on the R&R gospel charts and is currently being played on gospel radio stations nationally as well as in and England. After meeting Andre Montell of Amir Records based in Miami, Florida, Ministree "signed" with Amir Records, and released their first CD project, "His Ministree" co-produced by young super-producer Ray Braswell Jr, former musical director for Verity Recording Artist, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson in the Spring of 2008. The Turner Brothers (Apopka FL)

The Turner Brothers are a group of multi-talented young men that reside in Apopka, Florida. The Turner Brothers started their journey in 1988 as the Turner Family under the direction of Bernard and Joan Turner. After a four year break, the brothers still had a burning desire to continue their musical journey which started again in 2001. Bernard Turner, the father, suffered two strokes which led both the mother and the father to step away from the singing spotlight. This is when the sons took the initiative to step back in and continue the vision of the family. It was the healing power of God and the prayers of these faithful brothers, that their father was healed, thus birthing the title of their debut album “A Family That Prays Together, Stays Together”. Taking their career to new levels, the first single to be released on Session One Records, was in May 2005. The Turner Brothers freshman project has the gospel world buzzing with excitement. Listeners won’t be disappointed, but seeing them live will blow you away!!! The album contains 10 songs that allow the Turner Brothers to minister to you about God’s blessings and promises. The single “Pay Day” tells of how sowing good seed and staying faithful, God promises to reward us. The track “Too Close”, which is their show breaker, is upbeat and uplifting. It tells us to keep pressing on and that we have come to close to turn around. The Turner Brothers have ministered in concert with: Keith “Wonder Boy” Johnson, Luther Barnes, Lee Williams, Gerald Hinson and Diane Williams. They have also had several shows at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida and the American Gospel Quartet Convention in Georgia. The Turner Brothers are ministers not performers. Their goal is to get out the message of Jesus Christ through their music as God reveals it to them. Their appearances are high energy and anointed. The Williams Singers

The Williams Singers was organized by Rev. Charles D. Williams; a preacher, quartet singer, songwriter, and musician in Indianapolis. Rev. Williams a native of Louisiana and the cousin of the late great Rev. Leo Daniels moved to Indianapolis, Indiana via working on the railroad. While living in Indy he sang with many groups. However, most of the groups he'd join were not as serious about their relationship with God and the groups' ministry as he was. This would always lead to the groups busting up and or Rev. Williams resigning. One day God brought the scripture "Train up a child in the way he should go..." to his mind. Seeing that God had richly blessed him with a musically gifted family and his sons were eager to sing like their dad, he organized a singing group; then named the Christian Cavaliers by his sons. The name was later changed to The Williams Family Singers. At first Rev. Williams led a few songs and played the guitar and son Darnell played drums. Darnell later moved to the guitar, older brother Rick played bass and younger brothers Ryan and Dezrale played drums. All the brothers led songs, sang background and played. Though instrumentally gifted, brother Dezmien chose to concentrate solely on his vocals; as he was and still is known for his vocal range. The group traveled and sang everywhere. However as Rev. Williams ventured deeper into his pastorialship and his sons grew older they began to develop other interests; such as choirs, ensembles, contemporary groups etc. The group slowly drifted apart. Then years later seeing their father was getting up in age and had never gotten the chance to record; and also seeing that God had blessed them to start their own recording label (Deznell Music Group); Darnell, Dezmien, and Dezrale decided to record a live tribute album honoring their dad as well as show case some of the songs he'd written for them in earlier years. Even though their father had to be admitted to the hospital just before time to record. The magnitude of the success of the album and the long lost joy of singing quartet music together greatly impacted the brothers as well as the gospel community in Indy. THE WILLIAMS SINGERS IS A DEZNELL MUSIC GROUP ARTIST. For Booking call:317-299-7293,

They have received outstanding commendation by the Municipal Council of the city of Newark for their contributions to the field of gospel music. They are also active members at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Newark, NJ where Rev. Dr. Elton T. Byrd is pastor and founder, and The James Cleveland Workshop of America. Several members of the group have had the opportunity to perform in theater with other world-renowned artists. Life changed for the Frierson Singers due to the death of their Father, Joe Frierson Sr. and sister, Sarah Frierson-Armstrong, who was a lead singer in the group. During this trying time, some of the group members slowly began to show disinterest in singing, but by the grace of God, Rev. Franklin Frierson Sr. took the leadership role in keeping the group together. In 1997, Rev. Franklin Frierson Sr. was inspired to bring the entire family together to record an album in memory of his father and sister. The recording, which was titled “What are they Doing Today”, was comprised of family and friends. Through the years, the Frierson singers have maintained the saying, “A family that prays together, stays together”. They began performing as the Frierson Family and Friends for several years after and when the group was requested to travel the Frierson Brothers emerged. Over the past 4 years, the Frierson Brothers have performed throughout the United States and now have a regular performance at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ every fourth Sunday. God has truly anointed these brothers and they are determined to do Gods’ will by spreading His word through song. They have recorded their first CD on Joyland Records.God has blessed them and is looking forward for bigger and better things to happen.

The Rance Allen Group

When you hear contemporary Gospel music today, you are traveling a road paved by one of the most successful Gospel groups in history, The Rance Allen Group, a trio of three brothers whose first concerts were block parties in their native Monroe, Michigan over 30 years ago. Rance Allen and his brothers, Thomas and Steve, are three of a dozen children from a church-active family that nearly filled the small Goodwill Church of God In Christ (COGIC) the family attended.  Both grandparents were pastors and their Mother played piano and guitar. Rance began singing and preaching at age five, then learned the piano at age seven to accompany his singing.  Thomas was inspired by Rance's talent and picked up the drums.  Then Steve saw how music was bringing the two of them together and joined them.  When Rance was 12, he took up guitar and it became his formal instrument.    It was in the little Michigan church that the group's style evolved, often accompanied by the rattling of the windows and the roar of the wheels of passing trains.  They found an avid audience in the youth membership.  The Allen boys also came up in the COGIC Convention under the teaching of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. They began to listen to Motown songs on the sly and also listened to the greats of Gospel, Mahalia, the Mighty Clouds of Joy, James Cleveland, etc.  They took the tunes of the Temptations, Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Dionne Warwick, rearranged the words and gave it back its roots.  It was a new Gospel style and the young people loved it, but there was resistance to the non-traditional style from other churches.  They were ahead of their time.  They, however,  never cared what people thought because their main concern was their music and reaching out to young people who might be saved. About the time of Edwin Hawkins' super hit, "O Happy Day," a local promoter named Larry Giles approached Rance and his brothers and wanted to manage them.  "Giles was a visionary--he arranged for them to tour around and make their first recordings. Giles wanted nothing but major pop success and invested everything in the group.  However, because of the Group’s gospel focus, he went broke doing it. The group played live on WCHB radio in Detroit for a year.  Then in mid 1970 they won a Detroit talent show with a stirring three minute performance that brought down the house.  One of the judges was record man Dave Clark who introduced them to Toby Jackson who soon became their manager. They put together a tape of the group and shopped it around.  Their first recorded single, “Let’s Get Together and Love” was recorded on Monroe, Michigan based Reflect label.  Singing in their contemporary innovative and unique style no others could or would dare touch at the time, the group set out to make their presence known.   They went to Memphis and met with Al Bell, then the head of Stax Records, who was so impressed that he started a new label, Gospel Truth, just for them.  They had four albums on Stax and performed secular gigs with Isaac Hayes, Johnny Taylor and others. In 1972 they appeared in the motion picture Wattstax and has since appeared and performed on the Bobby Jones Gospel television show, the former Arsenio Hall Show and performed before the legendary crowd at The Apollo Theatre in New York City.  Their prison ministry has touched the lives and brought many to Christ as well. In 1975 they had a number one R&B hit in many markets, "Ain't No Need of Crying" that sold a quarter million copies.  After Stax folded, the group went to Capitol Records in 1977 for one album which did well.  Then they went to Fantasy Records for three albums.  One of those releases, “I Feel Like Going On” earned them their first Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Gospel Group.  This album contains the song, “I Belong To You” which is still in current air circulation.  In 1983 they joined Word Records and did two albums which are still selling. In the late 1980's the Group rejoined with Al Bell under his new label Bellmark/Life and had two successful releases. Their Bellmark/Life CD Phenomenon, released in 1991, earned the group nominations for a Grammy, the  Stellar Award and the Soul Train Music Award, as well as the Minnesota Black Music Award and National Academy of Gospel Music Award. The Rance Allen Group has received numerous other awards which include being recipients of the 1992 Golden Circle Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the McDonald's Restaurant Corporation for their outstanding contributions to gospel music over the years.  In October, 1998 they were inducted into the Gospel Heritage Foundation, founded by Gospel Today Magazine and the Trailblazers of Gospel Music Award presented to them by publishing giants BMI in 2005.  In addition ,  for recognition as being one of the legends of gospel music, The Rance Allen Group was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum in November, 1998.   You Make Me Wanna Dance, their twelfth CD, isn't just spiritual music for a Sunday mood.  it's meant to provide Gospel enjoyment seven days a week," says Rance, Tom and Steve.  "It's a lot of music, a lot of rhythm and a lot of Bible." In November, 2001 The Rance Allen Group came back on the scene following a long hiatus and signed with Tyscot Records.  This relationship has produced two hit releases, "All The Way" as well as their first live recording entitled “The Live Experience.”  Future projects with this label will be their best work yet. Like a collection of hit R&B singles, their music is easy and fun to listen to.  It's soulful Gospel R&B (that’s rhythm & bible) but with state-of-the-art sound and modern instrumentation.  It gives mature audiences what they've been looking for--music reminiscent of the best of the glory days of Stax, Motown and Philadelphia-International. New audiences and young people have found them, too.  They like the Group and what they do because they're turned on to their classic sound that never lets you down.  Then they get turned on to the Lord. Rance Allen was ordained an Elder in the Church of God In Christ in 1978.  He currently serves as Senior Pastor of New Bethel COGIC in Toledo, Ohio, a thriving ministry, were he has been since 1985 when he was appointed and placed there by his spiritual father, Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson. He is also an International Evangelist and has appeared in several gospel musicals.  Oldest brother Thomas Allen works for the State of Michigan Department of Transportation and Minister Steve Allen is Licensed  in Physical Medicine.  All three are happily married. It is the Rance Allen Group’s desires to continue making music that soothes the soul and makes you wanna dance! The Clark Sisters

Detroit has birthed out some of the greatest singers in the world: Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Vanessa Bell- Armstrong, The Winans family and many others but there is something about The Clark Sisters - Jacky, Twinkie, Dorinda and Karen (sister Denise left the group in the mid 80's). The Clark Sisters have spent the last three decades singing, preaching, evangelizing, and teaching the word of God across the country and abroad.
Carrying on the legacy of their mother the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, a gospel legend in her own right who received three gold records during her musical career, they have influenced a countless number of musical artists in the fields of gospel, pop, rhythm and blues, jazz and hip hop. Their inimitable style has been much imitated in nearly every R & B wail, pop moan, and gospel lick but their singular uniqueness remains untouched.
The group has recorded over 12 albums and have contributed collectively and individually to countless other projects including the Grammy Award winning "Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration".
Each sister has a distinct style that contributes to the esscence of what is now known as "the Clark sound". Twnkie Clark, the creative force behind the group has written most of the songs that we know and love today such as the crossover hit "You Brought The Sunshine", "Is My Living In Vain", "Expect Your Miracle (Looking For A Miracle)", "My Mind Is Made Up" and many others. Her organ playing has influenced the way that many of today's greatest musicians play and her powerful vocal range effortlessly soars from bass to soprano. Dorinda, the "jazzy" sister, scats, riffs and runs with a fervancy that places her in a class of her own. She has an inate ability to make each song her very own and she is a preacher to be reckoned with.
Karen, the youngest, is an inimitable vocal acrobat whose runs and high soprano range are often imitated but never duplicated. Jacky, the eldest, brings a balance to the high energy vocals of her younger sisters by contributing her sweet yet versatile vocal styling.
The ministry of The Clark Sisters shows no signs of slowing down. In addition to the much anticipated reunion album being prepared, each sister has already enjoyed successful solo careers.
The Clark Sisters are true gospel legends and their legacy is shared with only a few true great artists.

The Christianaires

A gospel quartet that began with brothers, Paul and Tyrone Porter in the 1970’s, they have made it routine to tour the nation on a continual basis, their bus traveling through cities and towns of all sizes almost every weekend.  It should be noted that, their parents, Rev. Eddie and the late Mrs. Ora Porter, outstanding vocalists in their own rights, significantly influenced the brothers.  One can be sure, that as often as they play they are touching audiences with their heartfelt testimonies and soul stirring performances.

The Porters grew up in Detroit Michigan, in a traditional gospel environment, their parents raising them in the church and encouraging them to participate in the church choir and other church activities.  Paul led his first group when he was nine years old and for the next eight years, became well known for his versatile style and natural vocal agility.  He and brother Tyrone sang in groups together until Paul graduated from high school in 1979.

Paul and Tyrone ultimately made the decision to move to Sontag MS.  Once settled, the brothers teamed up with talented cousins, Ronald and Arnold Brown (Identical twin brothers) who had previously been singing with an R & B group.  As with the Porters, the Brown brothers also came from a musically enriched family background.  This group of young men became the original Christianaires and it was in the small community of Sontag that they carved out a place for their unique rendering of Gospel music.

Paul, who writes much of the group’s material, is not the only songwriter.  Tyrone and Ronald are also exceptional writers. The other group members have contributed to material that finds its way unto the albums.  They also search for material from other sources, helping them to keep their sound fresh.  As for their message Paul states that the Christianaires’ purpose is to minister the word of God though song and to let people know that God is real and that He will hear and answer prayers.

Arnold Brown, who served as tenor of the group, eventually felt led to answer a call to the ministry.  He was replaced by the current tenor, George Carter, whom has been with the group for the last 14 years.  In recent years the group has been reunited with older brother Charles Porter (Formerly of the Blind Boys of Alabama).  Charles enhances their versatility to an untouchable level.  Charles makes frequent live performances with the group and joins them on their latest release, “Thank You” (Marxan Records) “Thank You clearly places the Christianaires on a plateau in the industry that sets the standard toward which all others strive.  The group has been signed to a major record label for much of their career, including Malaco, CGI, and currently Marxan Records, which distributes through Malaco Records.  They have earned critical acclaim for their musical achievements in the form of Vision Awards, Stellar Awards, and other nominations and chart-topping hits.

Paul, who was recently blinded in one eye by a blood clot on the brain, affecting his speech and ability to walk, has experienced the miracle of God’s healing power.  With renewed vision (both spiritually and physically) he sings now from the vantage point of one who has been healed and has made a promise to God to share his testimony and proclaim God’s glory to others who need renewed vision and strength.  As Paul states “Whatever the need is God forgives, He loves, He saves, As well my ministry is to encourage people.”

In January 2003, the group moved to the Nu Horizon Booking and Management Agency responding to a need to expand and adequately address the needs and requirements of their growing musical ministry.  Nu Horizon, headed by Jerry W. Goode, President and Owner, oversees all aspects of the group’s business and constantly searches for ways to enhance the group’s market appeal.  Jerry Goode states that if you thought that the Christianaires were powerful before, you are going to be delightfully surprised in the future.  The Nu Horizon team is convinced that this already mighty quartet has only scratched the surface of its true potential

The Jacksonaires have been blessed to share the stage with many great gospel artists such as: Lee Williams & Spiritual Qc's, Spencer Taylor & The Highway Qc's, Rev. Andrew Cheairs & The Songbirds. We had many members that has come and gone, and one that has gone to glory to be with our heavenly father (Maurice Dolls). The Jacksonaires have an album out entitled "Grace", dedicated to Woodrow Jackson Sr. and the late Maurice Dolls. Since then The Jacksonaires has taking it to another level, bringing us together impowered by God with a vison to take the group to new standards, putting God first, letting him, and not ourselves lead the way taking us far, and beyond, guiding us with great wisdom, riding on the highway to Heaven lifting up the name of Lord, the devil tried his best to tare, and bring The Jacksonaires down leaving us on the side of the road, friends turning there back on us but God turn around and gave us some friends that no one can ever take away, signing us with the best of the best Sharp Records taking us from city to city, and from state to state, telling the people about Jesus as we pass by, so when The Jacksonaires come to your city we going to give God all the praise, and if you don't like that stand aside, and watch us praise God all by ourself. We're coming to let the you and world know that if you're tired of living in sin call on Jesus, "He Will Bring You Out" because God's "Grace" carries us, and you through it all

7 Sons of Soul

In a world that is cluttered with new music and new artists, its often rare to be introduced to a brand-new group and be impressed yet the first moment you hear the distinctive music and sound of the TWO TIME STELLAR AWARD NOMINATED 7 Sons of Soul you realize that this is something special in your music library.

The group comprised of six men all from Washington, DC, are lead singers Cliff Jones, Dave DaveyBoy Lindsey, Deonte Gray, Doug Hayes, Sam Kendrick and Kenneth Epperson Jr.

The first question is always, why is the group called 7 Sons of Soul? Dave Lindsey, who also plays keyboard and produces and writes much of the groups music answers God represents both the first and the last son. He is the alpha & the omega our beginning and our end. The name of the group really represents both the number of completion 7 which is Gods perfect number according to I John 3:2 and the sons of soul because we are guided by Him, the Father we are all His sons.

Stand-outs include Prayer Changes the old-school, jam ensconced in tradition that makes you feel like its a Sunday morning at church and Need You, a nearly R&B sounding song from the opposite end of the musical spectrum that features Cliff Jones silky vocals & Lindseys contemporary instrumentation. I just fell in love with the record when I first heard it, said Lindsey. I did the piano solo on it and the song speaks to the person out of touch with God and wants to find their way back. The first single off the project is the encouraging number Run On, The lyrics are traditional by nature and the flow is all day. Co-written by Jones, Lindsey and his brother Michael, the song actually marks a pivotal turning point for the group.

7 Sons of Soul reveal their higher purpose all shunning the chance to record secular music. Jones who is well known in mainstream music circles, as both a producer and manager has worked with several top selling artists including Dru Hill, Ginuwine, Gladys Knight and Will Smith, says hed never sing R&B. Although Ive been a part of managing different groups and have been offered R&B deals; Im convicted to stay true to what Im called to do and I can only record Gospel music I love Gospel, its in my heart its a part of me, says Jones.

Their music pays tribute yesterday, is an indication of tomorrow and the combination is perfect for today.

The Pilgram Jubilees  (Chicago,IL)

The Pilgrim Jubilees are known affectionaltely as "The Jubes" througout the country. They are also known for their gospel music with its driving beat.

The group traces its beginning back to 1934, in Houston, Mississippi, when Elgie Graham and Willie Johnson decided to form a duet. In 1946, Theophilles Graham, Monroe Hatchett, and Leonard Brownlee were added, and The Pilgrim Jubilees were formed. These members remained intact until 1950, when the Graham family moved to Chicago, Illinois.

In the early fifties the group was reorganized buy Elgie Graham. He brought in Major Roberson, Kenneth Madden and his brothers, Cleve and Clay Graham. In 1955 Elgie decided to retire from the group, but encouraged them to continue singing God's praises. Other than the departure of Kenneth Madden, and the arrival of Ben Chandler, the group presently remains intact.

They released their first recording on the Nashboro Record label, and received a fair amount of recognition. After many prayers and meditations, Major Roberson and Rufus Crume composed "Stretch Out". While singing on a program in Atlanta, Georgia, they were noticed by Dave Clark, who was at Peacock-Songbird Records at the time. He recommended that Peacock sign them, and with the release of "Stretch Out", the group received national recognition, as well as a Gold Record.

In 1979 "The Jubes", signed with Savoy Records. During their stay, they recorded four albums entitled, "Keep on Climbing", "Put On Your Shoes", "Whensoever I Pray", and "Put Your Trust In Jesus". It was during this time that they established themselves as one of gospel's top quartets. From these albums came such hits as "Rich Man, Poor Man", "I'm Happy With Jesus Alone", "Whensoever I Pray", "Put Your Trust In Jesus", "I'm Glad You Looked My Way", and many others.

In 1987 they signed with Malaco Records and released "Gospel Roots", which immediately hit the Billboard Top Forty Gospel Chart. 1988 brought the release of their second Malaco project entitled "Back to Basics". It reached the top twenty-five on Billboard. "Family affair", released in 1991, reached the top twenty on Billboard and Cashbox and was nominated for a Stellar Award.

'I'm Getting Better All the Time" released in late 1992, has enjoyed extensive airplay nationally and is proving to be a favorite of gospel music lovers everywhere.

According to Pastor Naomi Durant of Baltimore Maryland, when you listen to The Jubes, you will understand endurance. For these men are legends in their own time. They have withstood the test of time.

The Brothers 4 Christ

The Brothers 4 Christ is a Traditional/Contemporary gospel quartet that started out in Clinton, NC. Members Keithy Peterson, Ray Best, Marcus Peterson, Joseph Brunson and Kendrick Boykin all cousins, have always known that their singing talent was a gift from the most high. A gift that needed to be used to praise the Lord.

During their childhood years, Brothers 4 Christ were members of the youth choir at Saint Paul’s Church of Christ in Clinton, NC. When they were not singing at the church, the group also performed at family functions and fundraisers. Through their songs, they have been able to continuously lift up the name of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Inspired by the words of praise from gospel artists such as Willie Banks and the Messengers, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC’s, The Canton Spirituals, The Jackson Southernaires, The Williams Brothers and the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Brothers 4 Christ hope to use their words in song to minister to all of God’s children.

God’s power is displayed every time they open their mouths to sing. Their voices are his ministry in action. His power anoints their voices to heal the brokenhearted, save souls and spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  May God bless you all.

Please call your local radio station to request to hear these anointed men of Christ. Taste and see that the Lord is good! While traveling up and down the east coast, B4C just wants everyone to know that God is the reason.

The professional accomplishments including being nominated for two (2) Stellar Awards and musical compilations of Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites, over 13 releases to be exact, relatively speak for it self.  They are loved by many, followed by many and they lead many to their level of Worship and Praise every time they Grace a stage.  Down through the years they can truly say God has been good to them and they have no need to complain.  From their first hit to this present day, each recording has been a blessing and still is blessing so many.

Today the group is still traveling, singing to the Glory of God.  In the year of 2003, Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites regrouped together with four talented, God-fearing men: Doc “Milbert” McKenzie, Darryl Henley, Rodney “Roc” Bennett and Robert Holland.  Together they recorded “Standing on the Rock.”  And now in 2008, Doc, Darryl, Rodney and Robert have done it again.  Eyes have not seen, nor ears have not heard but brace yourself because Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites come to tell you that “The Answer is in the Music.”  Embracing a new sound, a new era but serving the same GOD! They are stronger than ever.  Their sound is compared to none. With Bryan McKenzie as their mastermind sound technician and
band members Jason Britt, Rick Daughtridge, Chris Stephenson and William Purvis they are sure to reach higher heights and deeper depths as they press toward the mark of a prize of a higher calling in Christ Jesus through their music ministry.  Reaching millions one soul at a time!

Titus was recognized by the legendary Robert Blair of the Fantastic Violinaires of Detroit, MI as his Vocal Successor and personal Legacy.   Robert Blair, in his own humorous style, had a habit of calling Titus "Lil Blair" or "Baby Blair" at various concerts during his tours as Lead Singer of the Fantastic Violinaires, and intended that Titus follow in his footsteps. Soon, people recognized his dynamic sound, reminiscent of Robert Blair, and the group inevitably became know as Little Blair and the Mighty Peacemakers. He comes from a very Musical family and his father, Bishop Frank Stallworth, is a prominent leader in the church community
